Hello Mike and Laura-
Just wanted to say (with my little furrbutt in my shirt! ) that he is
fantastic! Whatever u do keep doing it! I never expected to be this
far with him in only 4 days but our bond is amazingly strong and he
thinks of me as his Mom and safe place and let me tell what a feeling
that is! The socialization and time u must spend with your babies is
amazing...he far surpasses what I expected for my first week with my
first glider.
I was told to expect to get bitten (he
has not bitten me once-only the nibble thing!) I was told to expect
him to be crabby for a while till he totally trusted me (well I
haven't heard him crab since his 2nd day here!) I thought I wouldn't
be able to tote him around while in the house for about a week, well
he broke that rule as well he loves to be with me he stays in my shirt
all day while i take care of the house and kids and doesn't make a
peep (except to chatter? just little short chirps...i guess he is
happy) and we both enjoy playtime now as I have made a special glider
room where the computer is so we play and he runs and jumps off me but
comes right back whenever he hears a noise (so I know he trusts me!
Yay!) What a special little guy.
The temperament and time taken with him proves beyond a shadow of a
doubt you breed well and try very hard with your babies because he is
a gem that has broken all the rules of a new glider adjusting to a new
home. He is healthy, active, and pleasant all the time which makes me
nervous about only one thing....if I don't get a glider from u again I
will be worried it wont be this sweet and tame! Keep up the fabulous
work as it truly shows the time and effort u put into breeding for
temperaments and spend the correct amount of time with each of your
Joey's so they are correctly adapted to people and new parents like
myself have such a head start on the bonding aspect! I will highly
recommend u to all as your Joey's are superb!
Oh, and for all of you out there who are worried about shipping...when
done correctly it is fine...he was not nervous or shaken a bit and
wanted to stay with me when he arrived which proves that it can be
done when its correct and no harm will come to the precious little
ones. Mike and Laura, u take the time to breed correctly and socialize
correctly...and a baby who is bonded with his new Mom in 4 days! What
could a first time glider owner want more than that? Nothing...he is
perfect
Thank you very much and I look forward to getting another wonderful
baby from u! Feel free to leave my email and phone number for anyone
who wishes to speak to me about my experience with you and the
wonderful joey's you have.
